Dr. Kayla Thaller, DPT

I founded Sound Rehabilitation and Performance because I believe physical therapy should feel personal, supportive, and centered around each patient. My goal is to provide high-quality, one-on-one care where every person feels heard, understood, and confident in their treatment plan.

I have experience working in a variety of settings, including outpatient orthopedics, neurological rehabilitation, college athletics, and pediatrics, with a special focus on musculoskeletal injuries. I use evidence-based treatment, hands-on care, and movement analysis to help my patients return to the activities that matter most to them.

Movement and an active lifestyle have always been a big part of my life. I grew up playing sports and later competed in collegiate volleyball and cross country. Today, I continue to enjoy distance running, cycling, strength training, hiking, and spending time outdoors. I have also coached youth sports and led training programs for athletes, pregnant women, firefighters, and older adults.

You may also meet my golden retriever, Koda, during your visits. Koda takes her role in the clinic very seriously and works hard to make sure every patient feels welcomed, comfortable, and supported during their care. Born and raised in the Olympia area, I feel grateful to serve the community that has always been home to me.
